Kupo sucks.
And not even because of the heartburn, sore areas you don't even want to know about, huge angry red stretch marks, and body hair that would make a yeti proud...
But I swear he's having a bad effect on my already poor dietary habits.
I actually wanted McDonald's today. And I had it, too. I think it's the third or fourth time since I became pregnant. That's... actually a lot for me.
Fat and sugar is ♥ according to him, it seems. >_>
I'm constantly worried I'll make him into this hugely obese baby, so I try, but I'm not all that good at it.
But today the midwife estimated that he's about 2600g (that would be about 5lbs, maybe a little more, I guess) which is a good size at this point and she said that he'll probably be around 3600g when born. That's a good weight (exactly average for baby boys, actually), so yay.
Now to be a bit more healthy...
We're actually going out of town Wednesday through Saturday. To Copenhagen, which is about a three-hour trip from door to door. We've talked to the midwife about it, though, and if something happens we should just call the nearest hospital and in all probability we'll actually have enough time to go all the way back home if contractions should start (contractions from early stages and onwards are usually 12+ hours for first-timers, it's only in the movies that the water suddenly breaks and you have to rush without a warning).
And tomorrow we've got a nursing class. Yes, they have those. It's just one hour where she talks about methods and how others can help etc plus you get to ask questions. We should really have attended weeks ago, but I told Maz about it and he seemed a bit meh about it and I was also a bit meh (I have pamphlets, books, the interweb, and three full days for people to help me at the hospital...) so I didn't sign up. Then it was brought up at birth prep and suddenly the bugger wants to go, so, yeah, we signed up at this very late date.
Anyway, I be behind on everything so I guess I'd better remedy that.
