Writing and shopping
I'm excited about two things today. Both are equally "meh" to anyone that is not me, but I'm gonna share anyway.
1) I wrote 1300 words last night. After such a long dry spell that felt GOOD! And most of it was even Harry's POV, which is certainly new. But I had fun with it. It's for namelessamelie's Bingo Prize. IDK what word count I'm gonna land at but with how she and the other winner have to wait, I'm just gonna write until the fics are done, whatever that means in terms of word count.
2) I bought a new changing bag online today. It won't ship until Monday, but yay! The old one is completely broken (the zipper is FUBAR) and was always, always, always fugly and quite frankly not worth much in terms of usefulness. It had one big compartment and a changing mat that buttoned on the outside, that was it, but since it came with the pram... Yeah. But we still need a bag for Kupo and then we'll need it again for new baby, so off I went to shop!

There's a changing mat, a binky clip and a toiletry bag that comes with it.
True, this bag doesn't have a lot of compartments (two big ones, one that can be zipped, and some open ones for minor crap, no compartments on the outside) buuuut it was at a reduced price at this one site. So. And it's not too feminine, so Maz won't die if he has to go out alone with it. Also, it's usable post-changing-babies so yay.
And since it was at a reduced price, I also wrangled getting this (which was surprisingly easy, Maz is totally becoming soft in his old days):

I don't think I'll really be needing the credit card pockets, but it has a couple compartments, one of them with zipper, and it'll mean I can keep my purse and mobile etc in the miniclutch inside the changing bag rather than needing to bring a whole other handbag.
So, yay, shopping!
Poor as dirt again, though. Ugh.
