I wish our library was more library-like

Bleh.

Sometimes (strike that, a LOT of the time) I kinda hate living in a small-ish town. My city isn't teeny tiny, but it seems like the attitudes are. Therefore, while our library is chock full of best-seller paperbacks and right-leaning non-fiction books, other books are kind of hard to find.

Case in point. I really, really, REALLY want to read Why We Believe What We Believe by Andrew Newberg. But my library does not have it. Grrr.

And I was just about to rant about how I don't have the money to buy it, when mother walked by. When she heard my growling, she asked what was up. Upon hearing that I wanted to read a book, she stole daddy's credit card so I could order my very own copy, since you can get it for so cheap on Amazon.

YAY!!!!!!!

Wow, this journal post is really schitzo.

HAHAHAHA!!! Look at Giles in the funny hat. :-) I have to use the "silly" mood more often from now on.

random, midland, rant, mom
