San Mateo County needs Ride Along Coordinators for their upcoming election on February 5th. RACs help the Field Technicians troubleshoot the new electronic voting machines and everything else having to do with the election process. Each FT in the system needs a RAC, not just for the fun of it, but because there always needs to be two people handling any machinery for security purposes!
It's a single day of commitment, although it's a very long day. There is also a 1.5 hour class in San Mateo that needs to be taken before February 5th, which you also get compensated for.
