New Start
Ahh, my life is changing. First, got made redundent from new and wonderful job. For those non anglos out there it means that the compnay has deemed my job unnecessary or too expensive and are cutting costs by letting me go. Its a nicer way of saying you are fired. Life is changing for me a little around here. I put my notice in here at work and was two days away from being out of a job when my manager came to me and offered me a new position with the college.
I will be heading a pilot program to try and get people who are registering to take their GED to study for the test. We are having to many fail and keep repeating the test over and over. The main thing that I am excited about is it gives me a five dollar pay raise. I will be getting paid $18.85 an hour. Maybe I can start saving some money now.
Greg is doing well in nursing. He has gone to night shift now. I miss him but he seems to be enjoying it so I won't say anything to make him switch back to days.
