AIDS Walk Los Angeles
Wow. It has been a long long time since I posted here. I've been meaning to sit down and write a post about what's been going on with me (not that it's anything that exciting), but what finally got me to do it was that a certain event is coming up again! I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about. It's Shameless Solicitation Post time!
For the last two years I've participated (along with kaycee_a and others from my Friends list) in AIDS Walk Los Angeles. It's a 10K walk through the streets of Los Angeles and West Hollywood, and last year we had over 30,000 walkers - we raised over $3.9 million for AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) and other local AIDS service organizations.
I have not been on the ball this year, I admit. AIDS Walk is only a week and a half away and I've barely started harassing people! Still, I hope you'll consider sponsoring me - or, if you're one of the generous people who's sponsored me the last two years, sponsoring me again!
You can donate online at my donation page with a $25 minimum, or in any amount by mailing checks payable to "APLA" to me - not wishing to post my address in a public forum, if you want to do it this way and you don't already know my new address, please let me know and I'll e-mail it to you. Whatever you're able to contribute at this time will be gratefully received. And if now isn't a good time for you, I'll be glad to have your good thoughts on October 19th!
