Clothing Fail

So, either something is up with my ability to do laundry properly or the world is conspiring against me.
One of my formerly comfortable Candie's bras no longer fits. Somehow the straps are too long. They used to fit just fine, in fact better than fine, and now, even on their shortest adjustment...
did my shoulders shrink? I'm not holding all kinds of pent up hostility in them and poof the straps of my bra won't stay up?
Sad part is that it matches two of my favorite pants. :(
Speaking of pants! I got out of the shower just a little while ago and discovered my pants had a hole in them. A fairly large one at that. Then I discovered that there were two! (actually two more, but close enough together I could count them as one) Opposite of where the first one was.
I'm now wondering what setting these were last washed on.
