Phones and Cameras!
So my phone started dying on me about two weeks ago. It would randomly decide that it couldn't find a signal--though the number of bars it displayed suggested otherwise. Sometimes I couldn't make a call, many times after three text messages it would be like 'nope you've sent enough, i don't want to send this one too'. Now I got all my incomming calls and messages just fine. So bleh. It didn't seem to make much difference if it was just off the charger or not--that and the battery display was always full. ::frown at stupid displays that lie to you::
So...I broke down and went phone shopping. Okay there was no breaking down, but I had to limit myself to behaving so that I didn't buy a shiny shiny phone. I also had T come with me to give her input. The gal checked on my account brought out all the free phones for upgrade, and from there we were like...hmm, no, no...well I like this one and this one...but let me see these others...and while I was looking at the slightly more expensive ones I was absentmindely playing with the phone in hand and T was like 'no that one, look you've bonded with it'
The only problem with changing phones. You can't take your music and wallpapers with you--at least not with my carrier. So now I must decide if I want to dl a new ringtone, and if I want it to be the same as before, or if I wanna grab a few and then just start the process again in 2 years (that's how long a phone lasts me--like clockwork).
My ma got a new camera. She's had a nikon for a while but doesn't like the display and has camera envy when we compare pictures, her camera like so many others has a delay before it actually takes the photo and most of the time mine snaps the photo the second I push the button. So whatever dumb face you were making, i caught it. Sooo she got herself a new kodak...and happy day, her usb cable is compatible with my camera (pete's wasn't). So I might actually be able to access my photos before they're a full year old! ^_~
