Not bad...not bad at all.
I didn't know what to think about WWII Sniper: Road to Victory. I've never really heard about it or the maker of the game so I didn't think it was gonna be a good game. I was SO wrong. Although it sorta rips off Call of Duty in a few ways, it's still a pretty fun game. Obviously, you're a sniper and you have FUCKING WIPE OUT THE GERMAN RACE. Or at least that's what I have done in this game. SERIOUSLY. They give you a sniper rifle, and about 10,000 targets. Thank god the positives outweigh the negatives.
Pros:
- Good graphics
- Solid Sniping
- Stealth IS required to survive
- You annihilate the Nazi's
- AI fits with difficulty level
- Nice sounds and effects
Cons:
- You can literally walk through vehicles
- Your partner does nothing but stand there and wait till you kill about 99% of the enemy force, then he shoots the last guy.
- Marksman difficulty has a meaning you wouldn't expect. It's not implying you NEED to be a marksman to survive, it's implying that the enemy can snipe you with a heavy machine gun from across the map.....everytime....even if you're sprinting.
So my first great experience with this game is when I had to give sniper support to a wounded company. I then spent, no joke, 20 minutes sniping what seemed to be 1/2 the Nazi Regime. Whoever made this game(i think it's live Groove or something) REALLY wanted you to kill Nazis. Then I made the shot heard round the world. I saw this Nazi officer driving away, like he wasn't gonna die. Then up the road I spotted a whole lot of Nazis coming my way. What happened next wasn't even planned, but was still awesome. With the power of ONE bullet, I wiped out 10 soldiers and 1 officer. I nailed the officer in the back of the head shooting blood all over the windshield (awesome) and then the jeep fucking threw itself into the soldiers and slammed them all into the wall, systematically executing every last one of them. OWNED. Then there was this one part where you have to blow up a tank with T N FUCKEN T. Let me tell you, i've never seen anyone fly that far in a long time. The tank blew up and this flaming nazi was like "Gaaaahhh!" and then hit a brick wall, leaving a nice blood splatter on it. Priceless. I'm about halfway through the game right now, I quit for the time being because I keep getting killed by soldiers with hawkeyes. I swear to God, I peek my head up for a second and I get killed by a random Nazi from beyond what I can see. Sooo yeah I have to find a way outta that.
Special thanks to baybuhs for giving me this game. It was more than I expected, and actually gets a 7/10 in my book. Heh, beats the hell outta Battlefield 1942, that only got a 4/10 from me.
