Disclaimer: I don't own KAT-TUN, any of its members, any other JE people.  I write this for fun and for other fans of these fine folks.  But don't steal my plots, mmkay?  I put a great deal of time into them except for when I'm randomly spastically spitting words onto a page.  But I value those too...

Summary:  Kame and Yamapi have been together for three years but something's changed...

Not Tonight

Those dangerous eyes were back.  There was nothing of the man he’d fallen in love with in them, not when Tomohisa was like that.

“I swear, I didn’t do anything!  I would never!  You know that!” Kame explained, pleading with his boyfriend.  “Please, Tomo!”

Tomohisa spat back at him, “I saw you talking to him!  What did you two talk about?  Did you fuck him for free or is he paying you for it, whore?”

“Neither!  Tomo, please, you have to believe me!  You don’t have to do this!  I’m begging you, please don’t do this…”

Tomohisa took a step towards him and Kame’s instinctual reaction was to take a step back.

He immediately wished he hadn’t.  Tomohisa’s eyes flashed and his body tensed and Kame knew that was it.  “T-Tomo, please…  p-please…  please, no…  I won’t do it again!  I…”  Not that he’d done anything in the first place, but he’d say anything if it appeased his boyfriend.

Kame might as well have been talking to himself.

The first blow sent him stumbling backwards into the living room table where he landed hard on his side.  The TV remote went flying but the two tea cups and the glass from the picture frame broke, the sharp remnants digging into his skin painfully.  He wasn’t there long though, because Tomohisa grabbed him by the shirt, pulled him up, and flung him into the wall.  He barely got his arm up in time to cushion the impact for his head.

The sound as he hit was sickening, this horrible crack-crack sound and more pain to go with it.  Kame tried so hard to distance himself from everything that was happening but it was hard to hold back the tears as he slid down to the ground.  Pain was one thing but this was his Tomo doing it, his Tomo hurting him so badly.

How did they ever get here?  It wasn’t always like this.  Kame didn’t know what happened.  Just one day, about four months ago, everything changed.  One slap destroyed his world and since then Tomohisa’s rage just kept growing like some foul malignancy.  “T-t-tomo… Oh, god, please, enough…”  It came out hoarse and so quiet, barely more than a whisper.

This time, Kame’s pitiful begging just seemed to anger the man further.  “You say that every time and yet here we are again!” and Tomohisa backhanded him, knocking him completely over.  And when Kame put his arms to protect his face, Tomohisa changed tactics and kicked him in the stomach.  “Having this discussion again!”  Another kick to the gut left Kame coughing.

Tomohisa wound his fingers into Kame’s hair, pulling him to his feet.  Next thing Kame knew, he found himself pinned to the wall.  “Is this how you let him take you?  Up against a wall?”

God, Tomohisa was pushing so tightly against him that he could barely breathe!  Kame’s voice was raspy as he said, “Y-you were my first, Tomo.  My only!  You’re all I know!  You’re all I ever want to know!”

“Lies!” Tomohisa hissed at him.  Then right in Kame’s ear he whispered, “If you like being a whore so much, I can treat you like one…”

Kame hated the way his voice shook as he pleaded, “Please, Tomo!  D-don’t… don’t do this!”

But it had no effect.  The man he loved just wasn’t in there at all in that moment.  Tomohisa ripped Kame’s shirt off and pushed his jeans down till they fell to the floor at Kame’s feet.  Unzipping his own pants, he kissed Kame fiercely, bruising Kame’s lips as he used his knee to pry open Kame’s legs.  He pushed in dry, with Kame completely unprepared for the intrusion.

Kame tried to scream but the sound was swallowed down by Tomohisa who was still crushing his lips with his own.

Everything got kind of hazy after that, like he somehow stepped away from it all or maybe he just shut down because he couldn’t face what was happening to him.  That... that his Tomo could actually do this to him…  And then Tomohisa was gone and Kame was left on the floor, back to the wall, hugging his knees tightly to his chest and sobbing harder than he ever had before.  He knew he should go to the bathroom and clean himself up and then start picking the shards of the tea cups and glass out of his side but he couldn’t make himself go.  If he saw himself like this in the mirror, that would be it.  He’d break so badly he’d never mend.

He just… he wished he knew what he’d done wrong.  What in him made Tomohisa change like that?  Because he wasn’t lying when he told his boyfriend he’d never known anyone else.  And Tomohisa wasn’t always like that.  He was… he was sweet and sometimes arrogant and often funny and then one day he just wasn’t anymore.

He had to have done something.  People don’t just change like that suddenly.  It had to be his fault.  He made Tomohisa change.

Oh, Kame knew Tomohisa would apologize later.  That’s what always happened.  But this time was just different.

Tomohisa had… had raped him.

His Tomo had…

Oh, god…

It didn’t matter why anymore.  He just couldn’t stay.  Things wouldn’t get better.  If Tomohisa could do that to him - no matter the reason - then he was capable of anything.

Kame swayed unsteadily as he pushed up to his feet, every muscle in his body screaming protest.  For a moment he thought he was going to throw up but it didn’t happen.  Kame put back on his pants but the shirt was beyond help.  Next, he stumbled to the kitchen and called his friend Tatsuya.

“Can you come get me?” Kame spoke very quietly.  If Tomohisa caught him now, who knows what he’d do?

“Sure, Kame.  Where are you?” his friend asked.

“Home.  I’ll… meet you out front, okay?  Don’t knock.  Just… ah, stay in the car?”

“Sure.”  This time, though, Tatsuya sounded worried.  He started to ask something but Kame hung up on him.

It would take Tatsuya about fifteen minutes to get there.  He didn’t want to look like this when his friend saw him.

No avoiding the mirror now.

He pulled the rest of the glass out of his side and wiped away the blood.  His chest and his arm were both horribly marred by bruises.  The wrist was a bit swollen, though.  Kame hoped it wasn’t broken.  He didn’t want to go to a doctor.  A doctor would ask too many questions.

The entire right side of his face was purple but there wasn’t much he could do about that, either.

When he climbed in the passenger side of Tatsuya’s car, it was already full night.  At least Tatsuya had the decency to just drive.  Kame didn’t want to talk about it and Tatsuya seemed to realize it.

He’d have to tell his friend something, but…

Not tonight.

Not tonight…

A/N: There's a possibility that this is the prologue to a multichapter far in the future (since I have to finish both TWCC and TK first).  No guarantee but a distinct possibility.
