Chapter one: Attention is the most basic form of love

Kame flicked his hair in front of the mirror, trying to look at Jin from the corner of his eyes. “I hope I get to pose with him today” was all in Kame’s thoughts. And there was Jin who was busy pretending to brush his hair just to get closer with Ueda. “He smells so good; I wonder what kind of shampoo he uses.” Jin was still busy pretending.
Ueda’s eyes widened when he saw Maru sitting beside Kame from the mirror in front of him and Jin. “Why he there, his make up is already done…” Ueda thought. Maru had noticed Kame eyes were set on Jin and Jin only. He sighed “You look good, Kame…” he hoped to say it out loud.
Koki and Junno feel this awkward atmosphere all the time when they prepare themselves silently on the side of the room. It doesn’t help that they’re together and happy. They both knew pretty well who loves who and who deserves who. They have no clue as to how to fix this situation yet because it is such a hard puzzle to fix.
The director called them up and explained what they were going to do for the day. Kame smiled as he felt Jin’s hand holding onto his from behind. Maru saw this action and started to do it to Ueda. Ueda was happy, just like Kame. However, Jin was looking at Ueda the whole time he had held Kame’s hand, while Maru’s eyes were on Kame.
Both Jin and Maru eyes meet and gave each other fake smiles. “Let’s do it!” Koki says interrupting the awkward atmosphere. “Right on” Junno says patting both Kame and Ueda shoulders.
Kame and Ueda nods and look at each other. “Why do I feel like Ueda’s mad at me?” Kame thought worriedly. “Why do I feel this way...?” Ueda staring.
They had entered the studio and liked the dim romantic atmosphere. “Wow! This is nice” Kame says taking pictures with his camera. He turned around very quickly to take a picture of Jin but didn’t notice Koki was behind him, and thus ended up taking a picture of something else or someone else. He then tried another one and finally got decent shot of Jin doing a peace sign.
Everyone stood there while the director tells the members their respective positions. “Are we doing KAT-TUN order?” Ueda barked. Leaving everyone in shock since that’s something Kame would ask.
“No, I want to try something new today” the director answered.
“Oh…okay” Ueda says calmly but deep inside he was hurting. Jin saw Ueda’s face and Maru saw Kame’s. All four sighed because it cannot be helped. Kame was paired up with Koki, Ueda with Junno and leaving Jin and Maru together.
“Kame, put more into it, lean onto Koki’s back with more passion please!” the director ordered. Kame nodded and tried pleasing the director. Maru was jealous of his best friend but he feels different towards Koki since he knows Koki is very happy with Junno. However, he hopes it was him instead. He then looked at Jin, and Jin was watching, smiling “Why isn’t he jealous?” Maru wondered.
Kame and Koki had finished, and it was now Ueda and Junno’s turn. “Ganbarre~!” Maru cheered. Making Ueda smile, but Jin didn’t like it at all. “I was going to say that” Jin complained. Kame sat beside Maru and asked “Was I good? Do you think Jin liked it?” Kame smiled. Maru felt like he just got stab very hard; so hard he found it difficult to answer his question. “Yeah, you guys looked really good and Jin was looking at you the whole time” Maru took it hard but managed to give Kame a smile.
“Ueda, focus please!” the director barked. Ueda was distracted with Maru and Kame exchange of smiles. “Maru...” Ueda was angry. Jin was watching every movement Ueda has made and he loves that look he gives though he wished he was Junno. Ueda was walking towards Jin and patted him “Your turn” Ueda smiles. Kame saw this action “Jin, you haven’t smile like that to me the whole day…” Kame was hurt.
Junno sat beside Koki “You looked good babe” Koki whispered to Junno. Kame and Ueda heard but did not say anything. Both looked at their lovers and smiled. “Okay guys lean it more onto each other” the director suggested. Maru and Jin felt uncomfortable but manage to pull it off. Jin stared at Ueda and Maru stared at Kame.
“Last shot. Everyone, give everything you’ve got!” the director barked. This time it was in KAT-TUN order, leaving everyone happy. They all bowed and said thank you while leaving the studio.
They all got changed and left the building together. “My car is over there, so I guess Junno and I will see you guys tomorrow.” Koki said, dragging Junno with him. “Okay, bye” Everyone said, while waving. “So I guess we’ll see you guys tomorrow too” Kame said. “Yup, don’t be late tomorrow” Ueda smiled.
Jin’s car was beside Maru’s and they all laughed because they have said their goodbyes yet their cars are right beside each other. “Goodbye again Ueda! And oh, you too Maru.” Jin manages to say. “Bye Kame…and Jin” Maru says and got inside the car. Ueda joins him in their car and was playing “Butterfly” out loud, leaving Jin very happy. Maru and Ueda drives off and Kame turned to face Jin. “Kiss me!” Kame ordered Jin and he did with pleasure while “Butterfly” was still playing on his head.
