Exaustion
I know... there's lots of folks who have not heard from me in forever.
Some updates:
Alis attended FC for 10 hours. Then came home to sleep. I missed lots of folks I would have rather seen, but, I don't have the stamina any more to do cons like I used to. Call it getting old, soft, whatever. I call it too many cons in my youth, and not enough sleep the night before.
The loft bed is done. Built like a brick, stable, and a good height, it's cleared up a ton of floor space, which is currently a mess. I spend an occasional hour cleaning, and get spots clear, so soon it should be clean enough. I owe a fella for helping me with the design.
Pink Poodle Project - the first rough is finally done. My art skills have regressed, apparently, to the point where I can't do muzzles any more, or this would have been done months ago. SO, I'm gonna move on to the next stage - after I ink this one.
I wanna do more cons this year - I'm looking at something either in the summer or early fall. I need something of a vacation soon, too, because I'm starting to get pissy and hard to get along with, and for the moment, I need this job.
My lizards are great! Well for now they are. Looks like I need two new heat bulbs. I think I'm going to stop in Ace hardware Friday night - I suspect that 100 watt spots are probably cheaper there then they are at my store.
Also, unless I can get mercury vapor bulbs for a lot cheaper, I think I'm gonna stick to basic florescent UV tubes. Which reminds me - I need to start replacing mine - it's that time of the year. I'll probably wait till March to do so, or at the least, mid feb.
I need a lamp for under the loft bed - at night, it's just too dark for me to see my keyboard.
