something encouraging...
Jury duty's been for two days and I'm starting to get used to it. I just don't want to waste this time that I have to sort my thoughts out and figure out what I want to do with my life. Right now I'm running away from a bunch of things, but I guess when I figure this out I won't run anymore.
Anyway, I discovered something exciting today... or rather, yesterday. I realized that I actually like my own writing. That is, I can stand reading my own writing. Chinese more so than English. Hummm. But seriously, it's quite a task to pass my own standards... since I'm usually pretty harsh when it comes to writing. I haven't quite passed yet, but I know I can make it there if I put more time into writing. Though the problem is... there is only a limited amount of time and I can only do one thing at a time (technically...) so it's a matter of having to decide on what is more important to me. One exciting thing is that I've learned some basics on Go, so at least I can play now... somewhat. I'm also learning Japanese and Korean at the same time... and I've taken over Mandarin DJ'ing at the station too, along with my cantonese... so the coming few weeks I'm going to be going through some weird times. I'll probably have split personalities by the end of this. Lol. But I enjoy being so busy. Every day after jury duty I actually have work to go to. And when I finish with jury duty I can use the free time during the day to look for a job too... which is not too bad. Let's just hope I keep this positive spirit up. :)
That is... let's hope something doesn't get in the way. Koff.
