Okay, so... I joined up with the college's creative writing group. They meet once a week and share stuff they've written. Crack, pop culture references, and macabre works are completely acceptable. How does everyone view writing when they do it? Like, I see it as a big movie that I'm directing my head and I'm trying to write out the screenplay for. Consequently, some characters will act funny and there's a running bloopers reel. So it's like making a movie backwards in the sense that movies will start with a screenplay and become a product. I'm not sure if you've ever found a notebook that you haven't seen in a year, but I recommend flipping through it. Especially if you used to doodle in it.
