So, inevitably when I am sorta flopped in the recliner with the laptop on my lap, and the TV is off because the inane drivel annoys I... should read a book, or do laps around the house, or something more productive than remaining flopped and slightly bored. Granted, it is 10:30, so it would hardly be unfashionable to go to bed... but no.
Thus flopped I remain, and begin to browse for random stuff I sort of want/need but do not desperately need to buy. My favorite one tonight is this
ridiculously long scarf. I have a wild yen for such a scarf that can be wrapped and draped. Being a person of some stature, I take an odd delight in things that are too long. You may think it's annoying when your sleeves cover your hands, I find it a joyful novelty. The average woman's long-sleeved top is at best 3/4 length sleeves on me. Yay. =P So yes, long, colorful scarf. I think I may wait until I get paid and then hit the magic button. <3
Another one is the perfect cup. This is much harder than it sounds. I'm already in the habit of getting a styrafoam cup at work and rinsing/reusing it for several days. But when you drink iced tea, it inevitably turns the cup brown, and you are still ultimately adding to the trash. So! I started looking for a reusable, washable cup, lidded with straw, double-walled so it doesn't whiz all over my desk when the ice melts, preferably at least 32oz in size. Apparently such beasts are practically mythical. ~_~
I think I have found
something that more or less fits the bill, but they're a little expensive. I'm still pondering that one, because choosing a cup is an important life decision, you see.
