When the phone's not ringing, that's me not graduating!
This is my first semester of grad school. It has been going very well. I am getting a Masters in Instructional Technology. Wednesday, my university sent out its 2012 budget. The university has to cut 15 million dollars from its budget. 25 Programs were have been cut. MY DEPARTMENT HAS BEEN CUT. All of my professors (6) just got pink slips. Granted, it is not effective until 2012, but still. SHIT.
Fortunately, my program makes money. This semester, 20 doctoral students entered the program. It's technology FCOL. I'm hoping that some other under performing but not-yet-cut-department assymilates my department and my professors can keep their jobs.
