Yesterday was... odd. I came home Thursday night (6:00 pm is now deeply-dark with PST back in effect) and Greg was asleep, again, after another day of overtime. I woke him and talked with him and went to get my dinner, and he was DEEP asleep again, so I just went to bed at about 8:00 pm.
So we both woke rather rested and content at about 4:30 am yesterday.

A delightful way to start the day. We talked and snuggled and giggled at Rebecca's latest antics, and I went to work with an un-erasable contented smile.
I had another doctor's appointment at 8:30, so I arrived at about 10:15 to find that bills that need paid on the 10th needed to be written and signed by end of day, and with Monday being a bank and postal holiday, just about EVERY property needed their incoming checks processed and deposited by about three. Needless to say, the entire day was a crunch as we all scrambled to get it all done.
It isn't, really. I get to go in today for a few hours to get the bills stuffed and mailed by noon. But with Greg working today and me short a few hours from two different appointments, I'm actually happy about it. We are doing pretty well. We still come to the edge of our margin with each pay-check, but now there is a swiftly growing savings in that margin, and a proper tithe going out, and I've begun to get the last few loose ends tied up to where it will benefit us in the long run.
Two days of rest - a la going to bed at 6:00 Tuesday and 8:00 Thursday - and I'm happy again. LOL Now I know. It is mostly just a matter of getting ENOUGH sleep. Snoozing at lunch didn't really work, putting me to stumbly-ackward, half-awakeness at work. I just need to get home and to sleep way early every once in a while. LOL Every twice in a week, I guess.
