My thoughts and pastimes today were:
1. Failing to test a child. She welcomed me to her home with open arms and a big smile, chatting away instantly as I stepped in. However, when I started testing, she just wouldn't cooperate, and decided to throw a fierce tantrum on the floor. I guess she didn't feel safe or comfortable enough.
2.Obtaining Harry Potter audio books, narrated by Stephen Fry. They are brilliant! Fry does an amazing job acting out all the characters and in general, reading in a manner that does not make me snooze. I've listened to the first three chapters of Philosopher's Stone so far.
3. Lumene fails, again. I have been unhappy with their products before (such as the mascara for sensitive eyes - it wouldn't last for a few hours before smearing my cheeks), but I thought to give a chance for their night cream, which I bought from sale. I have applied it three times now, and initially thought it seemed great. My skin was very soft next morning. However, I just noticed I have some rash in my cheeks now, which appeared within a couple of hours after application. Ironically, it is a product for sensitive skin, and I have never had a reaction like this from any other cream. I guess there is a chance it might have occurred because of something else, but the cream seems like a relatively likely cause.
