I was sick all Thanksgiving vacation...what a waste, haha!
I went shopping Saturday...I got my Semi dress (which is really cute and matches perfectly with shoes I bought randomly last year and have never worn, haha!) I spent $200 total, including my Semi dress...Brittany spent $600 in Express alone? Yeahhhh, haha.
We went to Get-a-Pet randomly to look at the puppies, which look like they're dead (the employees have to walk around and prod them, just to make sure they're still alive, haha!) It's so sad...but they're so cute! Anyways, we were looking in the room where all the puppies are in crates behind the big windows, and my grandma goes, "That is the UGLIEST DOG I have ever SEEN!" We were all like, "...uhh...where?" So she points to this black thing in the corner...
Then my aunt goes, "Um...that's because it's a vacuum cleaner?"
Yeah. I share these genes. My children will share these genes.
Last week nothing really happenned. I went bowling (again) with Jess and John and tied Jess for first in the first string! It was a good time...plus it was glowbowling, which always makes the bowling experience that much more fun. They played awesome music, which I danced to...the group of past their prime couples were clapping for me after I did the cha cha slide. John just shook his head and laughed at me.
Jess and I made our routine midnight trip to IHOP afterwards and had our favorite waitor, who knows exactly what we get every time haha. There was this group of hilarious drunk 15 year olds behind us, and we obviously eavesdropped on them (although they were wicked loud, so it wasn't that hard) Turns out one of the drunk girls had just been dumped by her boyfriend of two years that day, and she was hooking up with one of her (sober) guy friends in the IHOP booth behind us...full on macking! We also overheard them talking about how they left one of their passed out friends in the backseat of their car...um 20 something degrees out?!? i'm glad they're such caring friends, haha.
Monday was a SNOW DAY, which is always amazing. Lauren was really sick and was at the hospital for a good part of the day, then went to the ER later on that day. I woke up at 2 AM on Tuesday to her sobbing hysterically and crying in the room next door. It was kinda scary and unusual...I swear that I've only seen her cry like, twice in the past 10 years. I didn't get back to sleep until 4:30, then woke up at 6 and got ready to go to Robert's early. Scraping off ice and snow at 6:15 AM is AWESOME. Since my car is white, Robert didn't see me parked and didn't come out until a half hour later.
Saturday is SEMI!
Sunday is the BRAND NEW CONCERT!
I'm gonna get like, no sleep this weekend?
Oh and another note...
John pretty much "confessed his love" for me last night. It wasn't weird, though. He's so sweet and is one of the best friends I've ever had. He might do an internship with the FBI in a few months, but he'd have to graduate early and move to Washington DC. He told me he didn't want to leave...pretty much because of me and that he's afraid to make the wrong decision. I want him to go and take the opportunity, even though I don't want him to leave. I thought that we needed to have the "talk" then. I care about John so much, and even though part of me does have feelings for him, the majority of me says not to do anything. I don't want to hurt him, and I want him in my life as long as possible as my best friend, so it's best that we don't screw it up. We both need each other in some ways, so I just want to keep things the way they are. He understood, and I hope I didn't hurt him too much.
on the other side...
Micah wants nothing to do with me, I'm convinced. I don't even want to think about it; it makes me so angry.
He's not moving for probably another year...
I finally talked to Wendy. Her pregnancy is making her really sick, and she hasn't left her room in about 2 weeks. She can hardly stand, and can only eat certain foods. I went to go bring her food, and we ended up talking for 2 hours. I think we both needed it. I filled her in on the Micah situation and the John situation and she told me all about the wonders of pregnancy. I'm surprised that I still want kids? Haha. But...let's just say she's not too happy with Micah. She's known him for 6 years, and is now hearing things and her opinion and ideas about him are changing.
People change. Either that, or you just learn new things about them and were simply blinded to them before.
