A good overview of the series (from a horror news site?):
SAMURAI JACK | Vintage Screams | Horrornews.net It's one of the few I've seen that isn't full of inaccuracies. The writer, Nigel HoneyBone, has a couple of choice observations. "A full decade into this animation renaissance [of the 1990s] appeared Samurai Jack, a similarly canny blend [similar to South Park, that is, of all things] of the minimal and... um... maximal."
I also like how he describes SJ's style as "lightning-fast combat, extended sequences without dialogue, explosions, and epic vistas." Yep, they tended to blow stuff up real good in SJ.
