Yes, MTV played music at one time and some of it was actually good. Some of it was excellent. Sometimes it was live in the studio. Rarely, but oh too rarely, something happened that was mindblowingly good.

There's a meme going around and one question is Rolling Stones or Beatles. Over the career, Beatles, but for a single album, Stones. This made me think about albums (CDs for you younguns) that are amazing.
