What do you guys use to run .mkv files? It seems both of my computers can't run them any more. The subtitles are way off and the screen goes blocky randomly. It's really, really frustrating. I wanna catch up on Skip Beat!

The good:
I got the notification of a scholarship I applied for last month--I got it! It's specifically for study abroad programs, so that's a great relief and a goodly amount: $1,500. Which covers about 1/4 of the whole trip.

The bad:

I got my textbook for Applied Computing 311 today...IT'S NOT A TEXTBOOK--THIS THING IS A PHONE BOOK IN DISQUISE!!The sucker has 22 pages of "Table of Contents" for God's sake!! I'm pretty proud of myself for the pieces I did for the Eco-art class this quarter and since three or four of my flist peoples have been showing off their talents (and, wow, do you guys have talent!) I thought I'd show a bit of my work, too.

I'm going to make Jambalaya as a project for my art class next week. It's a strange class, I know. My question is, what do you guys add into your recipes?

I'm just using Zatarain's (a pre-packaged rice and seasoning box), but it really needs more, you know?
