27 is going well so far...
I woke up gloriously late this morning, quarter to 11. Found my parent's presents on my computer chair: Across the Universe, the movie and the soundtrack. I flat out said I wanted the soundtrack, I loved the covers they did; the movie itself is...okay. They spend a bit too long on the psychedelic scenes, IMO, but overall I liked it.
My eldest brother is supposed to be e-mailing me directions to a place to park in Seattle tonight, as we are going to a concert as his gift. How cool is it that the Presidents of the United States are playing on my birthday? Duane is my favorite brother at the moment. Haven't heard from David (older brother #2), yet. It's 2pm...he's either at work or still waking up after an all night WoW/Everquest session. The gamer-freak that he is it might be both.
A long time family friend came over with his daughter, who is in Girl Scouts, and sold us cookies. They sell them here for about a month or so, so people stock up for the year when they're around. His daugther is the top seller in her troop, with just under 800 boxes sold. There's prizes for the number of boxes sold, on top of the fundraising for Scout events--she's already past the 30 gig iPod Nano and going for the regular one, which is 1,000 boxes. >_<;; We didn't have cool prizes like that in my school fundraising!
I swear my dog knows what day it is, she keeps sitting on my feet and giving me kisses.
