So I don't even know how long it's been since I last updated. It's mass insanity I tell you. We've been crazy busy, travelling, going to concerts, playing lots and lots of golf, etc. I haven't fallen off the face of the earth, it's more that my life is starting to mimic rachakate's more and more :)

So let's see, July 4th weekend we did the usual stuff. Saw T's family, watched fireworks, played golf and drank WAY WAY too much. Then we went camping in Darien Lake that next weekend. We also saw Phil Lesh, Trey Anastasio and a bunch of other people taht I don't remember. Thank goodness that the campground was only 3 miles from the ampitheatre, we did the whole parking lot thing for something like 4 hours before the show. It was the first time I'd done that, and was tons of fun even though I got severely sunburned. Lots and lots of kooky people everywhere, and we saw some dude get busted with seriously like a pound of pot. He had two or three of those quart ziplock bags in his pocket, they were absolutely *filled*. Nuts.

This past weekend, we played more golf (surprise) and drank even more (bigger surprise) on Saturday. Saturday night I started feeling sick, and thought everything was going to be ok until we got home, but my body had other plans. Specifically, to projectile vomit all over my entree while we were eating out. I felt so so horrible for the waiter and the manager that came over. Luckily it was contained within the plate and no splatter (mmm, tasty). They took it off the check even though I asked them not to, it was my own fault for eating something spicey, and we raced home to the cool goodness of AC. T was very sweet and got cool washclothes to put on the back of my neck, got all the medicine out of the cabinet to see if there was anything I could take (there wasn't and I told him that I just needed rest, but it was really really cute), and then tucked me into bed and held me until I fell asleep.

Sunday was a really great day, I never got out of my pj's. We made up a bunch of snack platters, stuff like chips and salsa, cut up veggies, cheese and crackers, etc etc and vegged in front of the tv all day. I knitted and T read the paper. I still felt sick, and even called in on Monday morning, but it was so nice to have him there taking care of me.

I know I've pretty much disappeared off the face of the earth and you guys worry about me. I just love spending time with T, and don't want to share him with anyone quite yet. We have both the semi-new relationship plus the engagement hibernation thing going on. I'll be back soon and I haven't forgotten about everyone, I promise!!
