Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah!

Thursday was fun with friends , Friday was last minute shopping and today is cooking and resting and such.
Trying to finish up quite a few projects right after Christmas.  I need to convert my home network authentication method to WPA, read a few books (Project Managment, Linux, etc), do a website, redo my movie database, fill in internships apps, and take care of various business interests. I am also trying finish getting through the rest of the Top 100 Movies from the top 250 movies of all time list at IMDB and watch a few other more modern movies.  Grades came in and even though they read a bit too alphabetical, they are decent.  I'm looking foward to next semster, although I still have to take one junk class (19th Century British Literature).  Empircal Research class and Decision Analysis and Decision Systems should be interesting.  DADS is all about decisions under uncertainty.

I couldn't decide what I wanted for Christmas so I decided to just decided to try a project.  I want to build a budget box HTPC (home theatre PC).  I'll start with the MicroATX cube case Antec Aria, a few old parts I have, and a PVR-250 TV tuner or two and see what happens. I don't know whether I will use Windows Media Center, SageTV, or Linux based MythTV. I'm leaning toward MythTV. Should be fun.

Check out Evil Lyrics. It displays lyrics for songs you play in any WinAmp, Itunes, etc.  For Macs you should use pearTunes. pearTunes is hosted on my server which BTW, if you want to upload a random file to it you can.

Oh yeah, watch this clip from a recent SNL skit. It's also on itunes. Very Funny:
