First things first: "Disconnect" part 3 (of 4) is for you to read at
JasonArnett dot com, along with parts 1 and 2 (you can just scroll down, it's too early for me to go doing a bunch of linking through). I'm not hearing much from anyone on what they think of it so far, which may be because it appeared earlier this year on my LiveJournal, and it's not significantly changed.
Or it may be because no one's reading.
I know it's alot to ask, but if you're reading my stuff, would you just pop in and say 'hi' at some point? There's no prize for it and all you're really doing is letting me know I'm not writing completely into the void. If no one's reading then I'll just keep writing until I find some readers.
It's a little early to talk about the next story, but it's going to be familiar to my LJ friends, too, and the Pulp Legacy friends. However, it's VERY significantly different than the first time around. Enough that it'll have an expanded title, too. New motivations, streamlined plot and hopefully better prose. After that, I'm done recycling older stories and you'll be getting all-new material in September on
JasonArnett dot com.
If you're wondering why I'm serializing these stories instead of just posting them in whole all at once, stop by in two weeks to find out. Since there's a fifth week in July, I'll be providing some notes on the stories so far before starting up "Deeper the Well" in the first week of August.
That's all for now. Hope you're all well. If you're reading this on Facebook, feel free to comment there. Off to walk now before a bit more writing and then the day job.
