Working on a new short story, The Castle on the River, and it's coming along nicely. It will definitely need editing once it's done being told and the aim is 6000 words in order to consider selling it.
That's the goal for the first part of the new year: to have several short stories and start collecting rejection slips. So I'm trying out 1500 words or so a day for the next few weeks given that I have a bunch of ideas. I'm 3184 words onto Castle so far and I have a plot that I'm halfway through.
Re-reading Strunk & White, too, while I'm finishing up Moorcock's third Oswald Bastable story, The Steel Tsar.
