I have a theory!
About where the current run of B&R is going with Jason.
It might be wishful thinking on my part, but I DO think this is a set up for a Red Hood on-going. As such it's going to establish what Jason is (and isn't) to the Batfamily. How? Well I suspect that the mutant taht broke Jason out are going to want him kill Batman and Robin. Or some other Batfamily member. And Jason won't. He has all KINDS of issues with his family, but when push comes to shove, no. It won't happen.
That said....I think Jason is going to USE the mutants to figure out what's going on, who wants the Bats dead and then play along right up until he's really not.
I rather expect there will be a line such as Jason: "I've never been against you, you've been against me" to Dick or possibly Bruce.
In any event I understand that this is rampant speculation on my part, so take it with a grain of salt :)
