I was sick not to long ago. And I've been slacking in the whole physical activity department since I've started feeling better. well enough is enough. I decided to start jogging again. Of course, I need to get back into shape now. No way I could do the usual 7k route. So I went the other direction. I didn't intend to go far, just run a few back streets and head home. 20 minutes tops.
Except.....I got lost *hangs head in shame*
And what was to have been a 20 minute jaunt turned into an HOUR and twenty minute effort. I'm surprised I didn't die, but I was more embarrassed then tired. Finally broke down and asked for directions.
The moral? Side streets are NOT straight in my area ^_^;;;
