I watched the Korea-China Friendship Concert and was seriously wondering where were all the C-Pop acts at. So they got cut, huh? The parts I watched only had some traditional(-ish) Chinese singing...
While CCTV haven't aired it yet, in the past, they've never done anything remotely comparable to what KBS did. They might shorten some performances, but the Korean artists' performances are, for the most part, complete.
In the past, I don't think KBS has done as much cutting ... maybe it's because that this is one of the first time that CCTV was kind enough to send real idol groups rather than a combination of veterans and actor-singers to the concert.
If I recall correctly, I think Hit-5 members were trained in Korea or something? I think a lot of people who work with them are from Korea too. It could explain why they look/sound more KPOP-ish than most Chinese boybands (and hence the rabid "OMFG WHY ARE THEY COPYING KOREANS" comparisons =( )
I thought that was Top Combine since they had the same director as DBSK for one of their MVs. Hit-5's past songs had a distinct sound that seems to be missing here. I don't know, it just sounds too generic to me. And what happened to their awesome rapping? I was just raving about it in my review for "Nothing Does Not Love". Maybe it'll be in the full song since the perf seems short...
