If I recall correctly, I think Hit-5 members were trained in Korea or something? I think a lot of people who work with them are from Korea too. It could explain why they look/sound more KPOP-ish than most Chinese boybands (and hence the rabid "OMFG WHY ARE THEY COPYING KOREANS" comparisons =( )
I thought that was Top Combine since they had the same director as DBSK for one of their MVs. Hit-5's past songs had a distinct sound that seems to be missing here. I don't know, it just sounds too generic to me. And what happened to their awesome rapping? I was just raving about it in my review for "Nothing Does Not Love". Maybe it'll be in the full song since the perf seems short...
You're right. Top Combine did train in Korea before debuting (although since then, most of their training has been in China and the U.S.), while hit-5 did not.
I think only one of hit-5's songs have been done by a Korean composer, and I don't think it was very received. Their awesome rapping is generally written by people from MT-Muzik, which I don't think wrote this song.
Maybe it'll grow on me after the MV is out...
