Renji slides Minabi's door open only enough to fit his head through. He smiles - playful - and whispers. "Psst... you awake?"

He knows damn well that she just got back from a mission, and she's probably getting ready for bed, in the dark. He also knows that her mission was a breeze and she's not tired, and most likely in a good mood.

Renji can't feel his left hand, and he smiles.

He keeps his eyes closed, and heaves a sigh.

"Minabi... you have to wake up baby, I can't feel my hand."

Renji comes back from a mission and Ryuu is waiting for him. As usual.

"You look like hell."

"Well that's better than I feel." Renji walks right past him, into the bathroom, and throws up. Twice. He wipes his forearm across his mouth, walks back to where Ryuu is sitting in the main room, and collapses onto the floor.
