Job hunt round two
I'm putting in my two weeks notice tomorrow. My boss has a history of being a total dick to people after they do that, so I'm definitely dreading it. I'm going to ask to speak to him and the assistant manager (who I'm close with), so that there's a witness if he cusses me out like he did this one employee. Anyway, I'm glad to be leaving.
But now I have to actually find a new job :( I really really really want to work as a barback, so hopefully one of those jobs I'm applying to will work out. If not, I'll try to get a job as a server and get a job as a barback later if I can. I sooo want to be a bartender. Making things more complicated though, I'm moving in January, so I've decided that I really should get a job in the city. Otherwise I'd only be working for three months at the new job before I'd quit. Plus, it'll be nice to already have a job set up when I move. So, wish me luck. Last time I tried to look for a job, I had three offers within the first day. Let's hope my luck holds.
