Yay Mac!
I had a good day today.
First, I got accepted into two classes, so now I have the desired 15 units. I'm still going to see if I can crash something that's better suited to my schedule tomorrow, but if not, at least the almost-not-full-time crisis is resolved. Whew. Plus, I love the two classes I got into. I got into the intro graphic design class, which I really needed to move on in the major, and I also got into beginning piano, which I've always wanted to learn.
Second, I got a MacBook! Yay for student discounts! My parents bought it for me, on the condition that I pay to repair the old laptop so that they can use it. Sweet. Also, I bought an Adobe software suite that includes the four main print design programs, plus three web design programs in case I decide to go that route. AND I got a free printer as a promotion. AND that printer has a top-loading scanner. Fucking amazing. This was such a great deal.
Now I just have to figure out how to use a Mac, along with all those programs, lol.
On a side note, I forgot how much I love DC Talk. I may not be a Christian anymore (or am I? It's hard to decide for sure), but I still love their music. Beautiful.
