Several Things Have Become Clear
1. It takes me way longer to start feeling tipsy than other people. In response, I always drink extra to catch up, and end up being really drunk once everyone else is starting to sober up. Lesson learned. In theory.
2. I never realize that I don't remember everything until I see the pictures. 142 were taken, and I remember around 12. Yet I do remember being in the place sand with the people in every picture at the time each was taken. I just don't remember posing at all. Which is pretty odd.
3. Drunken words/actions are just sober thoughts. Nothing I do or say when drunk is something that I don't want to do, it's just that I know I shouldn't. It could be worse. At least I just canoodle excessively instead of starting fights or crying dramatically.
4. The German and Irish blood in me has combined to give me an iron stomach when it comes to alcohol. I do not get bad hangovers from alcohol, but from what I pair it with. Never again will I pair it with some sugary, gooey, pepto-bismal pink margarita mix that is who-knows how old, and then follow it up wih three hours of sleep before going to work to teach four-year-olds. Worst. Hangover. Ever.
5. And finally: If you ever want an honest answer out of me, ply me with rum. Although I'm generally very honest anyway. If I don't want to answer I'll just say so instead of lying. Of course, with the rum in me, no question is unswerable anymore.
In short, I love to party. I will attempt to do so in such a manner that I can remember everything without the aid of photographic evidence in the future.
