I had my very first graduate school exam, and I aced it. :) It was in Musculoskeletal Anatomy, and it wasn't that bad. However, if I hadn't studied like a dog for 4 hours and just winged it, it would have majorly kicked my tushy. But I studied and made flash cards and put forth an effort, so I made an A. Here's to the padding that will provide my later test grades in that class.
I have another test on Monday in Diagnostics, and I'm a little terrified. Unlike Musculoskeletal Anatomy, I have no idea what to expect, and I've heard horror stories about how hard the exam was. Oh well, all I can do is study. If you're the praying type, say a prayer for me.
About posting stories again, I will be posting them in the Scriobh community. They will be easier to keep private that way.
I'm reading Storm Front by Jim Butcher. It's pretty cool so far. I suggest it to my scifi loving fans but not those who are averse to witchcraft in stories. I just watched The Dresdon Files from Syfy (does that make anyone twitch.... I still want to say SciFi). I really liked it so the books will hopefully be good.
Not a spoiler: I saw the trailer for the new season of Supernatural. I'm excited about the casting of this season. Also, I like that it has moved to Friday nights. I found Season 5 on Amazon for $33, so I bought it. Call me a sad little addict if you want, but I have been a loyal SPN consumer for 5 friggin years, and I will continue while the show lasts(at least until Kara graduates...then I won't have anyone to watch with....magicalfirepet maybe). I will at least give it a shot.
The town I live in has a Celtic fair every year. I think I will take a break from housesitting and studying in the middle of the day on Saturday and go to it. I'm really excited about it. I've gone for the last couple of years. It will be a little sad to be there without gemini or froggie, but I'm taking my current roommate along. I also plan on dragging a couple of OT friends. It should be fun. Maybe I'll buy something. I've bought something the last two years (cross and knife) . Perhaps a bumper sticker about dragons. Who knows? :)
