It's New!
It's 2008! I've been waiting for this year since 01/1/07, and it's here. I've known since last year that this year is going to be MUCH better than last year. And so far, it really feels like it's going to be.
I've thought bout my goals for a year now, and I'm ready to put things into action this year. Things are going to change, and it's really exciting to know that.
Ethan had a little New Year's party on his dock, and we rang in the new year there. Nothing crazy happened, but it was just a good place to be when midnight hit. Kisses and hugs were flying all over the place, phone calls were being made, I was bitching about how I couldn't call anyone at midnight... It was pretty good.
On the way back to the house, it just started raining. Not just sprinkling, but not pouring either. It was just a nice little shower. It rained all over Ethan and me. I don't know if it was the inebriation that made us both feel this way, but it felt like the old year was being washed off. It was like taking a shower after a long day. It felt great, and the next morning was beautiful.
I have good feelings about this year.
