M.I.A.iselne in May

May 22, 2014 19:23

Yet again I find myself neglecting my online accounts. My sincerest apologies to anyone who’s been waiting for any correspondence on my end. Nothing’s wrong; I’m still alive, believe it or not, but honestly, May turned out to be much busier than I expected. This week at my job was particularly crazy: one of my supervisors got sick (really sick, poor guy), so everybody else’s been picking up the slack. And it figures; the week one guy is out sick, business booms! Needless to say I’ve been working overtime a lot; it increases my paycheck, but decreases my free time. Tis’ life.

Anyhoo, little importance to report otherwise. My overall writing has been on the backburner this month, although I have been revising some of my Kuroshitsuji WIP one-shots, polishing them here and there. Once I stop nitpicking at my work you might actually see one of them online in the near future!

Other totally random Aiselne news:

- VIDEO GAMES: Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire can’t come soon enough for me! The 3rd Generation Pokemon games (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, aka. The Hoenn Region / Gamboy Advance games) were very special to me. And after experiencing Pokemon X on Nintendo 3DS, I definitely prefer the new direction this series is moving and am eager to see how well the lush Hoenn Region will transfer onto our current-gen handheld.

- ANIME: I’m even more psyched than ever about the new Kuroshitsuji anime, Book of Circus, thanks to the announcement that artist SID will be returning to sing the show’s new opening theme song, “Enamel.” I’ve become some of mini SID fan since “Monochrome no Kiss” for Kuroshitsuji’s first season and “Rain” for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I wonder if Kalafina will be returning for any of Book of Circus’ ending themes (?). Either way, rack up yet another reason why I’m dying~ to see Kuroshitsuji’s next anime incarnate!

- TV: Season 9 finale of Supernatural left me STUNNED!! I still can’t believe how it ended! O_O *speechless*

- SPORTS: Yours truly is no diehard, know-it-all-type fan when it comes to sports, but even I will happily admit that I am cheering loudly for California Chrome! Such a beautiful horse, beautiful backstory…how can you not fall in love with him? I hope you win the Triple Crown, Chrome!!
