Midseason Finales 2012 & Other News
My two favorite TV shows, Supernatural and The Walking Dead, are approaching their midseason finales in the next week. Is it that time already?! It feels too soon for me. Just as I'm reeeally getting into these shows, bam!, midseason finale followed by month(s)-long hiatus. Nice way to mess with fans' heads. :P
Last night's episode of Supernatural was hilarious! Hands-down the funniest all season (and *squee*! Misha rocked!! I'm so happy he's back!! Let's keep it that way, okay writers?). The Walking Dead is coming to a head, too; you can feel the level of tension is getting volitale amongst characters. Hell's bound to break loose all over again. I just hope this season's mid-finale of TWD won't be as heartbreakingly shocking as last year's. O_O Whoa. I couldn't (still can't) believe that one.
In other news...
I'm seriously considering branching-off my fanfiction for the upcoming new year. It's not that I've lost interest in my old fandoms (far from it), but I'm really interested in writing one-shots for Saiyuki and Kuroshitsuji (especially the latter). Still too soon to tell, but the more time passes, the more I want to try my luck with these fandoms...if just a little.
But overall, this week hasn't been a highlight for me. I'm not quite ready to talk about it just yet, either. Walking Dead aside, I've felt like a zombie the past few days. Last night's light-hearted episode of Supernatural was a much-needed pick-me-up, though. :) I'm keeping myself busy and preoccuppied. But, yeah, I'd be lying if I said I wished the last few days never happened. :/ More on that when I feel up to it.
