Potato 10/11 - Takaki Yuya

Sep 24, 2011 21:10

I'm so sorry for not being able to translate articles these few weeks D: I have other articles planned, so please expect more soon!

In this month's Potato, Takaki talks about magic. What kind of magic he'd like to cast on his crush and the members, and he also talks about his own SUMMARY experience!

Q1: If you could cast a spell on a girl you like, what would it be?
That is of course, "Fall in love with me!". I won't wish for anything else from the girl I like. As a topping, kiss me too (laughs).

Q2: If you could cast a spell on the JUMP members, what would it be?
I might make all of them do things they don't want to. How about making them dress up as girls during concerts? (laughs). I'll do the boy role, so others shall be girl roles.

To be honest, I don't think I need to use magic. I want to achieve and experience things with my own efforts. Slacking is not good, after all. But when I can't do anything about it, using magic is allowed (laughs). Maybe [I'd use magic on] things like slowing down time during day-off's only? Because, I've been in a SUMMARY phase nonstop ever since training until now. Our training has been divided into blocks like the Forest country and the Mirror country, and I appear in every block so I had perfect attendance. I've been in the training place everyday, so I knew how much a block was progressing as much as the staff do (laughs). Of course, that's a good thing, but that's why I want to sleep soundly at least on my day's off. Also, I'd [use magic to] make my room as big as Kyocera Dome. Won't it be awesome to do anything in your room? Of course, the TV would be the size of a screen, and since it's wide, I'd go around by car. Even though it's my room (laughs). Rather, only troublesome things might increase, but it's magic so I'd like to make it that big.

The member who I find strange is Inoo-kun. I can't see his private life at all. I can't imagine what kind of friends he has and what he does with them. I find him strange in that way. Also Keito, when he speaks in Japanese he's humble, but when he speaks in English he'd become so energetic. It's seems that [by speaking English] feelings become strong as well, and when we were in Hawaii, even if the foreigners were playing around, he'd be a pro in keeping up with it. That difference is amazing.

The single, "Magic Power", is a cute song. At first, I was surprised by the gap between that and "OVER", but when I listened to it plenty of times, the pleasantness slowly kicked it. We took the PV imaging us starring in a 70's TV show and we were too high-spirited that you'd think we had too much fun (laughs). Strangely, I felt at ease starting from the first day of SUMMARY. Our rehearsal hours were fewer than last years, but our concentration was even better, so probably the members of JUMP are those who can concentrate on short periods. Also, it's only been a week since the performances have started, but I've been too eager and raised my voice too much, so my voice has already become hoarse...But my voice gets back to normal fast, so...scratch that, I will fix it whatever it takes!
