I picked up my mum from her house earlier to go shopping and we ended up playing "Welcome to the Black Parade" far too loud and singing a lot to it like crazy fools. Then, when "House of Wolves" came on my mum cheered. I love my mum.

But I'm not here to talk about how much my mum is rocking MCR right now (a lot), rather to discuss some pictures.

So, a year ago last March I was over visiting Boston with my sister and staying with aneli8 and mrsronweasley. We had already met the wonderful mayatawi and then Liz said "Oh! You totally have to meet Tracey!".

Me: Who is this Tracey of which you speak?

So I'm off sick again. Spoke to my boss as well and apologised to try and assuage my guilt. He's totally cool about it, it's just me being a guilt-ridden fool. I worry about the minions and the like ( Read more... )

So - the debates continue to rage back and forth about characters of colour in shows/films and what attention they do or don't get and why they do or don't get it.

If you're looking for more of that here, move along. Instead I'm just going to have some quality appreciation of some hot/cool characters that are clearly not getting enough love.
