Here, have a pretty song, that's also so heartbreaking to me.

I like the tragic ones...

So a combination of brainstorming with my mom and buying shit (no, not the figure that I still really want. Cause I'm a dork) has made me feel better. Sleep and actually taking the 5HTP might also be contributing.

I also stopped trying to draw finally.

But I feel better about the costume. I have trim for the ruffle and hopefully that'll help. Interfacing should help the top. Then I'll just need to put it on, see what hides what and what else I need. Well I know I need that damned orange flower thing, and shoes. But the sides still might be a problem I don't really know how to fix yet.

Can't put snaps on them. (This is going to end up being my own personal inside joke for this costume: when in doubt, snaps!)

I've just added a day of work for myself though. Bleh. I know I can't get the top done as fast as I think I can though, so I'm trying to factor that in. And I need to buy burnt orange something flower thing once I actually have it together so I know what I need to hide.

I'm already at $150 now for this sucker. :P And I gotta get shoes.

And yet, I still buy videogames. Not new ones, no why would I actually be on top of shit? Nope, bought...drumroll...Assassin's Creed. And if you couldn't see that one coming from 50 miles away I'm disappointed in you. I grabbed the first game (really hoping it is the first game this time), Discovery (hey, I need a DS game for next month!) and then the one non AC game in this batch:

Haunting Ground.

The fucking moment I get this game I'm going to make sure it can actually play this time. But then I will actually get to play the damned thing. I really know nothing about it, if it's good or not, but since I've been trying to play it for a couple of freaking years now I grabbed a copy. Now I can use the $40 one as a coaster. :P

I will eventually buy Starcraft. I will eventually get over my anger at the forced internet thing. By not buying the game I'm not showing my principals or showing anything at all really except my disgust over it. But it still pisses me off, I'd really rather buy other things with that $60 right now, and blah. Pisses me off.

I'd rather put the $60 towards Ezio. XD Or contacts. Contacts would be a better idea. Contacts have to happen next month anyway, since I'm on month 12 of these monthlies. Yeap, optometrists would freak. They're so warped they don't like staying in my eyes any more either.

Right, list time. No tossing Ezio off roofs for me for a while...

- Put everything back on the shelves
- Finish decorating with the spider webbing
- Take pictures?
- Step 1 of top (can't call it a bodice, no boning): sew the two layers of fabric and 1 layer of interfacing together to create 1 "piece of fabric." So that I don't have to try and do this crap with 4 layers of fabric sliding around all over the place.
- Step 2: pin the front panels together and adjust to fit.
- 3: sew the front together.
- 4: Repeat steps 2 & 3 with the back, remembering to stick the zipper in there (upside down because you freaking measured wrong again), and attach the free panel to one side of the back.

If I get that far tonight I will be happy. So happy.
