I set my alarm for 5:30am... HA! I bet we'll be out of here by 8am, after we walk down to the car, stop off at the bank, then get gas/breakfast. Our goal is to drive to Tuolumne Meadows and stay the night in a campsite. Half that campground is first come first serve. I'm crossing my fingers for a site!
Tomorrow, we want to do a trip in the backcountry. No idea where we will go. Probably a place where there isn't much snow (my preference!!) and not a lot of people. We're taking the long way up to Yosemite, through the 395. It's a lovely route though, so pretty. You basically drive alongside the Sierra Nevadas for several hours. There's a small detour you could make to see Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in the States outside of Alaska.

My garden is doing splendid. My sweet peas are flourishing. I gave them a new support system, so the plant appears to be huge now! My tomatoes look like they are getting flowers. I hope this means fruit soon? I love eating lettuce straight from the garden- I am greagly looking forward to tomatoes! Also, even if you don't use them often, growing herbs is so easy and convenient. My basil especially smells divine.
