My new Castle pal mammothluv gave me the following rather random but awesome collection of questions.
1. What is your absolute favorite thing about Castle and Beckett's relationship?
2. Favorite Beckett intimidating a suspect quote/moment?
3. If there were a Castle/Grey's crossover, who would you most want to see interact?
4. Kate Beckett takes a vacation day and spends it with you - where do you go and what do you do?

1. What is your absolute favorite thing about Castle and Beckett's relationship?
The sex they've yet to have? I'm pretty sure that will be my favorite thing when it actually happens. In the interim, though, I would have to say the adorable snark. I am historically drawn to snarky couples. To wit: Mulder/Scully, Sawyer/Juliet, Lorelai/Luke, Brenda/Sonny (damn, I loved me some 90s General Hospital), and other examples that I can't think of at the moment but am sure exist. The snark and humor was what made me give Castle a chance (I mean, let's be honest, it's not the most original concept). I was a little worried at first that Beckett would be relegated to playing the straight man for Castle but I was rather pleased to discover otherwise. Stana has an amazing sense of comedic timing and I'm glad they've let that flourish over the past few years. I love when Beckett gets off a pithy little one liner and Castle gives her that "You're so adorable and cute and I just wanna kiss the hell out of you" face. Though I will admit that that could just be me projecting... Whatever. They're snarky and fun and cute and I love them.
2. Favorite Beckett intimidating a suspect quote/moment?
I don't know if I can pick just one, honestly. I just watched "The Mistress Always Spanks Twice" last night so the scene where she interrogates/dominates the SAM is definitely on the list. So very hot. I also like scenes like the one with the big scary dude in "Punked" where she just hangs out and maintains this awesome air of calm superiority. Oh, or when she put Vulcan Simmons through the two way glass. Or the "You wanna have little Castle babies" scene with Madison. Or when she interrogates Castle in the season 3 premiere. (Tell me, does she make you do everything on a schedule?) Um, so... yeah. I like Beckett interrogation scenes.
3.If there were a Castle/Grey's crossover, who would you most want to see interact?
Oh! Ideal scenario: Izzie is murdered at her new job in NY and Beckett and Castle have to call in the Seattle Grace folks for interrogations. Yeah, cross country interrogations aren't likely but whatever. Just go with me here. Anyway, that would accomplish a couple of things for me: 1) Izzie would be dead. So, you know, yay! and 2) Beckett would have to interact with all my favorite SGers. Of course, Callie would be a prime suspect and that? That would be AWESOME. Kate Beckett and Callie Torres in a room together. Unf. Though, if I think about that scenario for too long (more than, say, 10 seconds) it kinda dissolves into a really hot femmeslash thing with hair pulling, lip biting and clothes ripping. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ahem.
4. Kate Beckett takes a vacation day and spends it with you - where do you go and what do you do?
Are "my bed" and "lots of dirty, naked things" inappropriate answers to that question?

5. What fictional character do you relate to the most and why?
I wish I could answer this question with a kick ass, no-nonsense character like Beckett or Scully or Juliet but, if we're being 100% honest here, I'd have to go with a combination of Callie Torres and Luna Lovegood. There's a combo, eh? Callie because of the "I'm the girl that sits in the back of the class and eats her hair" and the "don't chase me unless you want to catch me" and the whole "say 'i love you' after 2 weeks because i'm a weirdo who can't control her emotions" thing. I fall fast, hard and often because I'm fairly certain that no one will ever love me but am still desperate for the experience. Luna speaks to the eccentric/intellectual side of me. She is odd and strange and lives in her own little world. She's cognizant of the things other people say and think of her but she just accepts it and carries on being who she is. Is it weird that I envy a fictional 15 year old? 'Cause I do. I'm weird and awkward and totally aware of the way people think and speak of me but the difference is that I let it bother me. I still care what the world at large thinks of me and the way I live my life. I'm trying to change that, to let it go, but that's so much easier said than done.

6. What's one thing that never fails to make you laugh?
Conversations with my sister. We crack each other up at least once a day. Which is a miracle, really. She and I were not close growing up. We've talked about it at length and neither of us ever thought we'd see the day where we'd be able to say that we are friends as well as sisters. Our road has been rocky and filled with set backs but, in the end, I think it was worth it. We've both gone through some major life changes in the past 5 years that have enabled us to speak candidly and openly to one another for the first time ever. And now that we live in the same city again and see each other at least twice a week, we have been able to grow even closer. It's awesome.

I am legitimately incapable of answering this question. I love way too many animals. Dogs, cats, otters, giraffes, mice, birds, snakes, slow lorises, penguins, fish, deer, rabbits, hippos, elk, foxes, turtles, frogs, camels, sloths, snails, lizards, tigers... I love all the animals.
Except horses and cows. Horses and cows can go fuck themselves.
