How is it going...?
Hi/hello from wherever you are in this side of the world, I hope that you are well and safe.
It's been almost a year since I last wrote an entry lol because frankly, life is hard dakedo happy (I just wanted an excuse to use that line), but srsly my RL has gotten busy, exhausting, and mentally draining.
Anyway, fangirling wise, I still haven't been back on track this year. I'm only lowkey catching updates whenever I have free time on X (Twitter, still feel the cringe on the name change)
Speaking of name change, well, I know it isn't news for everyone who has read whatever is going with THAT agency. Honestly, it's still too much to digest, but imo, it is important we acknowledge that SA has been going for years, and unfortunately, it has also affected the talents when the company has been losing contracts left and right. I'm reading the fan translations on the news, the fans' feelings, the victims' sentiments but I really don't have the energy and mental capacity to absorb and have an opinion on everything, as I'm also slowly withdrawing on being that agency's wota ever since Arashi's hiatus. I also haven't been updated for a long time on Arashi members' respective activities, what more of the kouhai groups I stan (tho I still wish them the best). Imo, it's great that former talents leave for a new and expanded opportunities, can't blame them if they want to catch up on the digital era and social media lol
Although I can't help but to satisfy my wishlists of owning some of Arashi's past tour merchandise, and to my surprise, my collection is already growing (most of them are secondhand, since they're cheaper) 😅

On the other hand, I'm still outdated with the happenings of Jr. EXILE, but I'm loving their releases so far, especially of BBZ and PsyFe where they are collaborating with Thai artists. Ever since becoming fan of the Exile Tribe groups, I really appreciate the fact that they offer range of activities, and the songs are just sooo 🤌👌 Though at times I feel limited to the content I can access since there are very minimal English translations of stuff they do. I hope that they can reach more audience in variety and music shows, because they deserve that recognition.

Series-wise, I recently finished OPLA, and while I usually wait for the hype to die down whenever I watch a widely known movie/series/LA, can't deny that I watched it for Macken. He deserves the worldwide recognition, cause man, I'm sure I'm not the only one who witnessed how hard he worked for his role as Zoro (and even his other characters on every project that he does), and seriously, it's amazing. Tho kinda bummed (especially in my context), that people watched it for the visual tease Macken has to offer and just fawn over his looks on the show, and he's even became a meme material 😅

Tbh I'm not a fan of OPLA (since I don't think I can keep up with its current episodes), but I do acknowledge that it is one of the best shounen anime created considering its longevity and large fanbase.
As for anime, I'm back on watching JJK and the Bleach last season, Happy Marriage (also reading the manga, damn Ishikawa Kaito is a serve in the anime adaptation) and some other anime that I find interesting on Netflix. Surprisingly, there is also an increase of anime and jdorama content in it so cheers on that~(/≧▽≦)
So that's a short update for now. I'm still kinda inactive on X, maybe it's just me that I don't feel the hype of actively fangirling anymore, just doing it on my own pace whenever I can.
P.S God I hate this visual editor (been a while since I wrote an entry), so I forgot how to edit the entry using the HTML interface, the cuts are so unnecessary, BRING IT BACK 😭
