If your bike is MOT legal, you can leave it revving all bloody day if you feel like, there's fuck all can be done to stop you. You may also point out that bikes produce *far* less of any kind of pollution than any of the cars on the street, as is evidenced by the far lower vehicle excise duty that bikes pay. And finally, riding on the pavement is illegal, crossing the pavement to park on your property is not. Cars do it every time they park on driveways.
Write back to the police with a complaint that you feel threatened and victimised despite being fully cmpliant with the law. Send a copy to MCN too, they'll love it.
That is a JOKE! Christ almighty, i think that is a classic example of someone (including the Police) having to much time on their hands... although quite humorously i was once pulled over for having my lights on to bright

I shall be going down the station on friday to talk to the local beat officer and I'll ask him to get hold of a decibel meter too...
I'll show him the choke setting I use, what the revs are and how long I leave it until I can idle..
Like I said, this letter really spoilt my weekend.
I've spoken to some of the neighbours and they're quite willing to talk to the police and agree that this is indeed, bollocks.
