New Drawing, RL, etc
A happy belated b-day to estelcontar and an early b-day to saerwen_13; hope your special day were/are, well, special.
I have up a new drawing, a portrait where I had fun experimenting with color- well, three. Prismacolor.

Yesterday, the 26th, was our three-year anniversary of meeting Sini in China for the first time. What a blessing she has been. Love you, dear!
The Olympics have been tons of fun to watch! Go USA :D I admittedly have been cheering for Canada as well... I mean, the US and Canada are basically brothers. Twins. Britain is our older brother.
And since I'm up at this hour I heard first minute about the flipping 8.8 earthquake in Chile. Damn. I hope it was as deep as the "estimate" puts it to be; if it was at over 20 miles underground, then it won't be nearly as bad as Haiti, which was a 7.0 only 8 miles underground. Depth is very important alongside magnitude. Also, Chile apparently has quite a few earthquake-reinforced buildings, which Haiti was completely missing. So here's for hoping!
And, of course, hopefully people will remember what happened a few years ago in the Indian Ocean area with the tsunami and leave the beaches, because certainly within... well, if it acts as fast as that one did, it should be there about now. Wow. Then again, I would think the shockwave would push the ocean the other way.... but then it has to come back. So yea, I hope people are at least a mile away from the oceans.
Damn, and it's not even 2012 yet. -_- Not that I believe it, myself, but for those that do, if this happens normally, what is the world going to look like in 2 years? Heh.
