(no subject)
Okay, I've decided that even if I think my life is boring, I'm still going to try to update at least once a week. Cause if I don't, people start wondering if I'm dead or doing badly, and that's no good. So yes, I'm alive, and doing fine, and keeping up with my f-list most of the time, though I've been particularly bad at commenting. Sorry.
As you might have realized from my last post, Bleach has eaten up a lot of my time. I may have infected rzyna with it, but it's been eating my brain for awhile now. I don't even have anyone to blame it on, though I suppose bleedthefreak is partially to blame for pushing me to watch it, though I already had it downloaded, just not watched. It really is a great show, if you haven't watched it. Lots and lots of really great characters, all of whom are incredibly fleshed out and very individual. The pairing potential is *huge*, for yaoi, het, and even yuri. I've actually got two OTPs for the show, one het, one yaoi. The het one is much more based in reality than the yaoi, but hey, I like my pretties. Oh, and characters and pairings aside, the plot is fascinating, and throws some twists in that I wasn't expecting at all. Anyway, it's a great show.
Another good show I've recently watched is GunxSword. I really need someone to watch this show so I have someone to discuss the philosophical issues with! It's a lovely show, full of action and some very cool characters. I was actually surprised at how much I liked a few of them, when I wasn't expecting to. One character I knew I was going to love was Ray, and I did. The fact that he's absolutely gorgeous certainly helped.
Other than watching way too much anime, most of my time has been taken up by gaming and knitting. A friend of mine sold me an old XBox and some games for cheap, so we've been playing our way through them. Also spent quite a bit of time playing Guild Wars and Guild Wars Factions. I don't think there are too many gamers on my flist, and those that are play WoW, but if there's anyone who plays GW and wants to go questing, let me know. I'm always up for a little fun!
Have also been knitting. I've completed 4 1/2 pairs of socks, (1/2 because I've only done one sock of the pair so far), and I've got another two in the works. I'm also working on a sweater, top down, for those who know what that means, and while it's going to take me forever, it's going pretty well so far. It's what I do while watching all that anime. Two fun things at once, you see! If I can steal the camera back from the hubby, I'll take some pictures, if anyone's interested.
I think that's about it. Not much, really, but I enjoy it. Always manage to fill the days with more than I really have time for, actually, though half the time I have no idea where all the time is going! (At least some of it is going here, which is way more fun than it should be. DDR for your fingers! I suck, but the music is fun, so I don't mind.
Hope everyone is doing as well as possible, and that the ladies at the fangirl weekend are having tons of fun! *hugs to everyone*
