So, we've now told both sets of parents.

They seemed to react positively. My parents don't actually know of the fact that we've been engaged for two years (I think I'll wait a bit before telling them that), but Euan's parents do.

*Phew*

Time to start moving forward with the wedding plans!

So, tonight is probably going to be the night that me & Euan tell our parents about my engagement.

I'm hoping that their reactions will be positive, but at the same time I kind of doubt it. Especially when or if they find out we've been hiding it for two years.

*Crosses fingers*

I've already passed the halfway mark of Silent Hill 4. Heh heh. *is a geek* All I have to say at the moment is: those nurses are freaky. So, what's been going on over the past few days? Well, I completed Onimusha 3 for the third time, Euan allowed me to use his zip drive to back up a load of my computer documents (more about that in a bit), and my father managed to slice his arm open at work. Yep, sliced. Quite literally.

( I'll put this behind an LJ-cut for the sake of all the overly squeamish people out there, as it involves not-so-nice details about the arm slicing incident )

Now that the holiday update has been completed and uploaded - about yesterday's events.

Caught a bus to town while Euan had a job interview with Asda. Had Jobseeker's Allowance signing. Wandered around town. Euan caught a bus into town after his interview - met up, wandered to jeweller's, got his ring finger measured. Euan bought Battle Royale II ( Read more... )

So, not only is my computer having problems (although it is behaving today), but now the monitor has to go bust, as well! The screen is almost entirely white. In fact, as I type, I am wearing sunglasses. I just can't look at the screen otherwise.
