A face from the past
Well, this is pleasant weather. *stares at the driving rain and strong winds* And it was so nice and sunny this morning, too.
Today on my lunch break, I bumped into someone I went to school with. I've seen him around, as he is the manager of one of the local Subways, and every time I saw him, I thought "I swear I used to know that guy", and I was pretty sure that he was a lad called Daniel.
Well, when I was on my way back to the store, he stopped me, saying that he recognised me and confirmed that he was indeed Daniel (Jem, you'll probably remember him - he was always referred to as "Priesty"). We shook hands and had a quick catch-up - he said he saw my wedding photo in the paper in 2007, and he now apparently has a little girl, aged two. He was pleased to hear that I'm doing well for myself.
It's been a while since I've had a random encounter with someone I used to know from years ago. XD
Anyway, 'tis food time now.
